Alex McCarthy

Director of Marketing

Alex McCarthy has been working in behavioral health treatment since 2013 and is thrilled to join the team at O’Connor Professional Group as Director of Marketing. Alex received her Master’s Degree from Columbia University in Public Health Education and Promotion in 2013 with a focus on Mental Health and Eating Disorders. Shortly after, she began working in eating disorder and mental health treatment in inpatient, residential and outpatient settings in both outreach and admissions roles. She is passionate about eating disorder advocacy, increasing mental health and substance use awareness and truly enjoys helping people, loved ones and referents navigate treatment options and find the best care for them. Outside of helping people access treatment and get the care they need and deserve, Alex enjoys gardening, hiking and any activity involving the beach and her husband and dog, Lola.
