Director of Companion Services
Christina Cicarella is OPG’s Director of Companion Services. Christina has been working in the mental and behavioral health field for over 7 years. She began her career in an emergency youth shelter, working with children presenting with a variety of mental health concerns and learning disabilities. Since then, she has worked in a variety of treatment settings, ranging from short-term treatment for adolescents impacted by substance and behavioral concerns to long-term treatment for young women presenting with a variety of substance use, mood, and personality disorders. Christina strives to help clients by removing obstacles that may hinder their ability to access appropriate resources. Her approach focuses on building the skills needed to manage mental and behavioral health issues while empowering clients to have a voice in their treatment and recovery. In her free time, Christina enjoys spending time outdoors with her partner and daughter, listening to and playing music, and reading. She is also actively engaged in local volunteer support groups for substance abuse disorders.
