Dr. Zachary Faas

Vice President of Clinical Operations

Zachary Faas, Psy.D., is OPG’s Vice President of Clinical Operations and is a licensed psychologist. Zack earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and was awarded a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from William James College. Zack has more than 15 years of experience in the field of behavioral and mental health and has practiced across a diverse range of settings. He has practiced on an inpatient psychiatric unit serving adults with chronic mental illness, at outpatient therapy clinics specializing in trauma and addiction, and at a partial hospital program for young adults experiencing early psychosis and served as the Clinical Director of the Developmental Disability and Brain Injury Services division of a large non-profit agency in Western Massachusetts. Prior to stepping into his current role at OPG, Zack served for 2 years as a forensic psychologist in court clinics, conducting court-ordered evaluations for Competency to Stand Trial, Criminal Responsibility, and involuntary civil commitments for mental health and substance abuse, and was appointed a Designated Forensic Psychologist by the Department of Mental Health.

Zack first joined the OPG team in 2012 as the Clinical Coordinator providing direct services to clients and collaborating with other members of leadership to develop the OPG team and model of service provision. He exited the position at the end of 2014 and rejoined the OPG team in 2021. In his current role, Zack works directly with families, advisors, and individuals as a coach and consultant, and provides clinical oversight and support to our growing team of professionals. Zack employs a collaborative and solution-focused approach to support clients and their families in establishing and working towards their goals. He strongly believes in the power of individuals to effect meaningful and positive change in their lives. Zack works closely with families and support networks to address complex dynamics and develop and implement individualized plans to support their loved ones. Zack currently resides in Western Massachusetts, and when not working enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and enjoying the company of family and friends.
