About The Guest: Liz Parachini has extensive training and experience working with women’s issues, particularly in the treatment and management of eating disorders in adolescents and adults. She gained experience working in several levels of care including inpatient, residential, partial hospital and outpatient programs in which she provided individual, group and family therapy. Liz has also practiced in the application of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She has experience in the assessment of a variety of illnesses that affect the functioning and treatment of those suffering from eating disorders and co-morbid illnesses, including major depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma and personality disorders.
